The Center for International Education is proud to announce
that four Berea College students won Summer 2012 Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarships. They all traveled to Ghana with Berea College professors Kathy Bullock and Linda Leek this May for a course entitled “Traveling to Ghana: African
Music and Literature.” Waylon
Mcdonald, Terence Witherspoon, Karly Jones and Jessica Gaines are the award winners of
$3500 each. Only 500 students in the country are receiving
this esteemed award. Congratulations, Berea!
